The appreciation I have for the arts and design began at an young age. I learned design skills and the importance of color early. I embraced design fully, becoming a Fashion Designer professionally and Interior Designer as a hobby for many years. I pursued graduate studies through my interest in understanding how we construct concepts of beauty, identity, and modes of learning.
At a young age I also became curious about The Self, this wonderful energetic being we all posses and often call Soul or Spirit. But it wasn’t until later in life that this journey of discovery of The Self began in its entirety.
I began this journey exploring different kinds of meditation, reading about the practices of Desert Fathers and Mothers, experiencing Franciscan spirituality in Assisi, Italy, Carmelite Mysticism in Spain and the importance of quiet time through silent retreats at the interfaith Satchidananda Ashram in the US. I began exploring the Buddhist writings of Pema Chödrön about the inner-self and human nature, Kabbalah seminars by David Solomon and non dualistic concepts. I began to focus on the teachings of Jesus within the context of the inner self.
Along the way I discovered alternative modes of self care such as adjusting mental rhythm, energy balance and its different types within the body, intentional stretching, holotropic breathwork, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Reiki, Emotion Code and Alchemical Hypnosis.
After experiencing the cumulated benefits of this journey, my passion now is to bring awareness and support of The Self. I combined my expertise in the arts, cognitive knowledge, alternative modes of healing, and acute interest in inner-self wellness to bring about IN COLOR. This alternative mode of wellness, guides the inner and outer self through consultations, support, inner wellness programs and hypnotherapy sessions.
